Did Heaven Start at 2:27? A Memoir about Signs from My Brother is a heartfelt story that chronicles the journey of a family navigating the profound grief of losing a son and brother and the mysterious connections that seemed to link his spirit to the song "Come Sail Away" by Styx and the timestamp 2:27.

Written by the younger sister of Bob, who passed away suddenly from a cycling accident, this memoir is an intimate exploration of  Bob’s friends’ and family members’ shared memories, the unspoken words, and the moments that shaped their lives together. They begin to see and share signs from Bob which very likely began the second that he passed.  It is through the song “Come Sail Away” that they begin to know this new form of Bob.  

About the Author

Carolyn Homer is a Floridian who considers herself very lucky to have grown up in the 1980s before technology took over the world. She loved growing up Koechlin as the fourth of five children. She earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Florida and an MBA from the University of South Florida. She married Florida native Chris Homer. They have one daughter, who is a fifth-generation Homer from Pinellas County. It was never her goal to write a book. However, she knew that it was one of her brother Bob’s goals and used her intuition to guide her through this process.
